Per Sandra Soroka, Executive Director, “It was important for our agency to have a complete case record for our clients at our fingertips with reliable access almost anywhereto complete client health information and increase our ability to provide safe and effective care. In addition, our agency was looking to improve efficiency, meet Meaningful Use certification, and integrate our billing software with an EHR.”
Once all five entities transitioned to paperless charts, the staff stopped using paper forms almost immediatelyand the clinicians did not have to reduce the number of clients they could see. Nowclient records are available simultaneously to all appropriate staff at all times, allowing staff to locate and process patient information much more efficiently.
When asked what the outcome has been since implementation, Sandy responded their staff have quick, easy access to client records, which saves time; our administrative tasks are now streamlined; our efficiency has increased and the overall practice management has improved. She says “ Inforia has worked very closely with our agency to meet our needs and customize our templates. They are constantly trying to improve and enhance their EHR to meet the changing needs of our agency and the Behavioral Healthcare field.”
